These cops got a report of a cat up in a tree with what looked like a gun. When cops responded, THIS is what they found… 
The stray cat didn’t have a gun but there was a branch that looked awfully suspicious near its paws. The Newport, Oregon Police Department took a pic and posted this on Facebook:
